Everything we touch, eat and breathe is full of chemicals today. As our research shows, right from the moment of conception, mothers can protect their babies from the harmful effects of chemicals – chemicals that impact their health as adults.

Rather than feel like there is nothing you can do, small steps are valuable. Minimizing the number of chemicals in your life through simply noting your use of plastics can help protect your breast health. Being aware of how chemicals are leaching into your water, your food supply and even children’s toys or baby bottles can lead to small decisions that will improve your breast health.

We encourage pregnant women and mothers to take this information to heart to protect their unborn and young children. As you will notice in our section on Children and Youths, good breast health for your daughters is not something any mother can assume today.
