Men

Although breasts are usually first associated with women, men have breast issues also. Although cancer primarily affects women, men get breast cancer too. Apparently about 1 in 100,000 men get breast cancer. The problem is that men aren’t as alert to breast cancer, nor is there as much research on the disease for men.

That’s not all. There are other issues that men must deal with. Perhaps lack of education, resources and support is one of the biggest around men’s breast health.

We trust that this group will empower men, along with the women in their lives to know more, and therefore be more alert to breast health issues that affect men.
